Who writes this#
My name is Raja, and I write everything on this site. There is no team and no rotating cast of freelancers — every article here has one author, and it is me.
Since January 2025 I have published 44 long-form guides, around 85,000 words in total, averaging roughly 1,900 words each. They cover investing, market analysis, cryptocurrency, budgeting, retirement planning and the ordinary money decisions most of us actually face.
What this site is — and what it isn’t#
I am not a licensed financial adviser, and nothing here is personal financial advice. I do not know your circumstances, your tax position or your risk tolerance, and no article can. What I write is research and explanation: how a product works, what the numbers actually say, and what the trade-offs are — so that you can make your own decision, or ask a professional a better question.
If you are making a decision that materially affects your finances, speak to a qualified adviser who is regulated where you live.
How I work#
Every article is written from scratch for this site. When I compare products, I compare the published terms as they stand on the date of writing, and I say when the piece was published so you can judge how current it is. Financial products change their rates and terms constantly — an article written in 2025 may describe an offer that no longer exists, and I would rather tell you that plainly than quietly imply everything is evergreen.
Where I get something wrong, I correct it rather than delete it.

Smart Personal Finance carries advertising through Google AdSense. Those ads are served by Google, not chosen by me, and no advertiser has any influence over what I write or how a product is assessed. I do not accept payment for reviews or rankings.
